Pam Davis will join our staff this month in a position where she will collaboratively work with classes and the teachers from Preschool to Year 2. The role is to guide professional learning and shared discussions around improving teaching practice which will lead to improved student outcomes in Literacy and Numeracy. The achievement of all students will be recorded from data collected and value added will be measured over time as students acquire new knowledge and skills. In addition to this position we will receive additional teacher time and funding to resource the position and provide relief for teachers to engage in professional learning. It is exciting to be part of this new strategy provided by the NSW Department of Education and Communities.
