Lucy Spora, has brought speech pathology to our younger children. With a caseload, previously, of twenty students she was only able to address the needs of a small percentage of our students. We decided to expand Lucy's time to double the case load to reach more students and offer them help, taking referrals from Years 1 and 2. Yet another increase will come from Stacey Marshall who has a practice in Dubbo. Stacey will address some of the needs where language experience and development will help with students' communications. Stacey will only be able to come about six times before the end of the year but teachers will be able to continue to implement some of her programs. We are grateful for whatever assistance we can get.
