The National Assessment Program for Literacy And Numeracy SMART Data results have been released to schools. Parents of students in Years 3 and 5 have received individual student reports. The data the school has received will be analysed carefully in terms of our existing learning targets and in looking at particular strengths and weaknesses. From this we are able to look at in-depth interpretive data from grade groups to specific class or group samples or right down to individual student performances. In this we are able to analyse responses right down to individual questions in the assessments and where necessary alter our teaching programs to address any deficits and support students in their learning. Our findings will be documented in special program evaluation reports, in the school annual report and they will form the basis of planning in our school management plan for the 2013 school year.
