Sadly, in contrast to wanting people to come to our school we had a large number of unwelcome visitors at the school last weekend. These were both current and past students with nothing better to do than make nuisances of themselves. If they had been here solely to practise cricket in the nets that would be fine, but unfortunately, they were all over the place and we had lots of bottles and rubbish left behind. We know also that some of these young people were right up on the roofs of the Gould League Hall and on F Block. This is potentially a very dangerous thing to do and we are glad nothing serious happened to any of them. You have to wonder why they don't think of the risks and why they are not under some sort of parental control. With a couple of broken windows the police were called. The police have also been asked to up the number of patrols around the school after hours and on weekends. No one should be on school grounds after school hours without permission.
