NAPLAN (National Assessment Program – Literacy And Numeracy) 2013
Parents of students in Years 3 and 5 will receive a letter this week informing them of this year's NAPLAN. Three days are set aside for all students in all schools across Australia to sit for these assessments. In Primary schools, Language Conventions and Writing will be held on 14thMay, Reading on 15thMay and Numeracy on 16thMay. Friday, 17thMay is a ‘Catch-up' day for any students who may have missed a test due to an unforseen absence.
It is really important that parents ensure that all Year 3 and 5 students are at school and able to participate in their assessments wherever possible on these days.
