As mentioned last Term there has been much to celebrate with excellent NAPLAN results. This year we have continued the excellent growth of students from Year 3 to Year 5.
In Reading our students achieved a Scaled Growth Score of 82.6 compared to the State which achieved only 72.24 meaning our students achieved better growth than the rest of the State. The same was true for Grammar and Punctuation, School 84.4, State 82.16 and Numeracy, School an excellent 105.2, State only 94.3. Results to be very proud of.
Unfortunately Writing could not be compared this year as a Persuasive Text was examined whereas over the last three years a Narrative Text was used. School-based data tells us we are making pleasing progress here as well!
