The Youth Interagency has negotiated with the Wellington Times to publish evidence of Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) in the paper during the lead up, in the week and following our activities.
A focus is for younger people to deliver a RAK to an older member of the community in the week.
The following are some examples:
· Ask your class to write a nice letter to an older relative or neighbour, saying that it is World Kindness Week.
· Visit a retirement centre, old people's home or hospital and sing or play music.
· Class writes stories for school newsletter on Kindness.
