This year our school will be hosting some of the activities.
To symbolise the fact that this day works as a bridge to reconciliation our students from Years 3 to 6 will assemble at the Town Library Car Park from 10.45am and walk back to the school hall. At 11am the rest of the school will join us in the hall.
Each student will decorate a hand that will join a sea of hands.
A short ceremony will be held to commemorate this day and start Reconciliation Week.
Some classes will view a documentary on the 2008 apology rather than any movies that were mentioned last week.
It will be great to see as many community members participate as possible. Everyone is most welcome. A BBQ will be held from 1pm at the school.
