Wellington Public School 150 years celebration.
We are looking for volunteers to join our committee to begin preparations for the 150 year celebrations of the school.
We plan to hold these in November next year.
Each year group in the school will be given a period of time in the school's history to research and to collect any memorabilia from this period.
At the moment these will be:
Years 5 and 6 (and Year 7 and 8 from the high school) the first 50 years 1861 to 1911, Years 3 and 4 1912 to 1961, Years 1 and 2 1962 to 2011, Preschool and Kinder the next 50 years!
Any other ideas or volunteers are most welcome.
