Wellington P.S. is one of three Primary schools in NSW to be selected to receive a short presentation around the issue of rail safety. This was in part due to the fact that we are in close proximity to the Wellington rail line.
This is a safety campaign drawing attention to railway level crossing safety and trespass and publicly sharing safe practices. Two representatives from John Holland Country Regional Network will come and address our school assembly on Monday, 12th August. On the day of our presentation, John Holland will also distribute a colouring and/or slogan competition for Rail Safety Week 2013 for the students to work on at home.
