Yesterday saw the return of teachers and support staff.
Teaching staff engaged in three sessions of professional learning in areas of Positive Behaviour for Learning, Information Communication Technology and the implementation of the new English curriculum and English – programming for quality teaching and assessment.
Today we welcome back our students and their families. Everyone is hopefully returning to us refreshed and happy after their Winter vacation. Term 3 will be a ten week term with the last day being 20th September, 2013. Already things are looking very busy and we will all have to keep our heads down and work hard to further build on our successes.
All parents are encouraged to be active in our shared partnership for building a solid educational experience for our students and to nurture and care for all things pertaining to the welfare of children. Please continue to help foster a love for learning, a respect for the need to have a good education and to ensure students maximise their daily attendance. Our data shows we are improving in our overall attendance rates so let's keep it up.
