On the last Friday of Term 2 our debating team went up against the school team from Orana Heights PS. The topic of the debate was that students should be allowed their own Facebook page and our team drew the affirmative argument. It seemed as though it would be a lot easier to bring up an argument from the negative side, however our Wellington students did extremely well and were the day's winners. A great team effort!
Many thanks are extended to Mrs Tickle who has taken an active interest in debating and in coaching our students to do so well. Their next debate will be round three in the 2014 challenge.
