Last term ended on a sad note with Mr Anderson announcing that he was going on leave and would not be at school for the remainder of the year. We will miss him as we head into busy times.
As a result, Mrs McCreadie will relieve as Principal for the remainder of the year. Mr Brent Eather will relieve in the Deputy Principal role during this time. Mr Eather is well known and respected in the Wellington community and comes to the role with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Our NAIDOC Day on the last Tuesday of Term was a great success. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the celebration. The children not only had fun but learnt more about Aboriginal culture.
Kindergarten Transition begins next Wednesday. We are looking forward to getting to know our new students for 2018.
